Hi, I'm Franklin! I may be a little shy when we first meet, but beneath that cautious exterior is a sweet boy who is learning that people can be kind and that the world isn't such a scary place after all. I'm making progress every day and have discovered that I really enjoy gentle pets and affection. Sometimes I still get a little nervous and need a quiet place to regroup, but with patience and understanding, my confidence continues to grow. The people who know me best can already see the wonderful cat I'm becoming. I'm looking for a special person who understands that trust takes time and that some of the most rewarding friendships are built slowly. With love, patience, and a calm home, I'm confident I'll continue to blossom. If you're willing to give me the chance, I promise to reward your kindness with a lifetime of companionship. We want to meet you and make sure we are making the right match for your situation as well as for the animal. Visit the Adoption Information page at www.mshoogys.org to fill out our adoption application and email it to one of our volunteers. You can also print a copy, fill it out, and bring it with you to M'Shoogy's during our hours of operation, which are Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please note that if you are applying to adopt a dog, we usually require that you have a fenced-in yard except in special situations. The cost to adopt includes shots and the cost of spaying/neutering. If you are adopting a dog we also ask that you purchase 6 months of heartworm preventative. It is sold by weight. If you check around, you'll find it is the lowest cost adoption service in the area.
