In the shelter’s words
Meet FERGIE, a stunning 1.5-year-old Siberian Husky mix who was rescued just in time from Contra Costa Animal Center before facing euthanasia. Her life was hanging by a thread—but today, she’s safe, thriving, and ready to start her next chapter. Weighing about 35 lbs, Fergie is the perfect medium size—and the perfect mix of beauty and sweetness. She’s incredibly affectionate, loves people, and gets along great with other dogs. Her gentle, loving personality makes her an ideal companion for just about any home—whether it’s an individual, couple, or family. Fergie is already spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, and all she’s missing now is a forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and cherished. ✨ Foster-to-adopt is also an option! She survived for a reason—now she just needs someone to choose her. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this amazing girl, please contact the rescue today. Fergie is waiting.
