In the shelter’s words

Meet Spider and Dracula, the 12 week old grey kittens who are named for their blood sucking tendencies… Just kidding! They are very playful and friendly kittens who need a loving home who will keep up with their supernatural energy levels. Like vampires, we want these kittens to be kept inside for their life. While sunlight wont turn them into dust, the outdoors are a scary place and we want to keep these kittens safe and sound. If you are looking for a kitty to melt your heart ( and not drink your blood, we promise), come meet Spider and Dracula! Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
