In the shelter’s words
Meet Violet – The Velvet Shadow Violet isn’t here to party. She’s here to haunt your heart, quietly and politely, like the world’s sweetest ghost. This sleek little shadow-cat is gentle, shy, and full of quiet magic that blooms slowly, but beautifully. She’s a black cat with soft eyes and softer paws, the kind of kitty who prefers the corners of cozy blankets and the sunbeams no one else noticed. Loud noises? No thanks. Surprise guests? She’ll be under the couch filing a formal complaint. But give her some time and a calm space, and she’ll reward you with the deepest purrs and the softest, blinkiest gazes known to humankind.Violet would do best in a peaceful home with someone who appreciates the slow-burn affection of a shy cat. She’d love to be adopted with Dragon, or into a home with another calm and respectful feline friend. Bonus points if you have treats, patience, and a cozy lap she can claim once she decides you’re worthy. If you're the type who finds joy in tiny blinks and quiet loyalty, Violet is waiting to slip softly into your life. Just don’t expect a grand entrance—she prefers to make her debut in whispers. WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION AS WE ARE A FOSTER-BASED ORGANIZATION. Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or
