In the shelter’s words

#MADLoveRambo is making himself right at home, and this big goofball just keeps getting better! Rambo has been with his foster mom and dad for a few weeks now, and he's settling in beautifully. He's a big, goofy softie who loves his humans, gets the zoomies, rolls around in the grass, plays chase, and apparently considers opening the trash can a perfectly acceptable hobby. But this boy is also a pretty quick learner!Training: Rambo is working on clicker training and catching on FAST! He's learning his basics, working on his "leave it" command, and building his confidence along the way.Leash manners: Huge improvements! He's making great progress with his walks.Backyard adventures: He's doing super well off leash in the backyard and loves having room to explore and play.Crate life: He LOVES his crate and goes right in without any fuss. Who knew a big boy could be so easy about bedtime?Cat updates: His first interaction with cats went really well, and he's been practicing his manners around them. We're working toward peaceful coexistence, and so far, so good!Puddle patrol: If there's a puddle, Rambo will find it. If there's mud involved, even better. We have a feeling spa days are going to become a regular thing around here! And then there's his heart...For a guy who was left out in the desert to fend for himself, Rambo sure loves being close to his humans. He wants to be part of everything, loves a good cuddle, and is still looking to build that special bond with his person. He's a big boy with an even bigger soft spot for the people he loves. He also comes with some pretty entertaining sleeping positions. So what kind of home is Rambo looking for? Someone who enjoys a little adventure, is happy to continue his training, and understands that confidence and trust grow with time. He doesn't need to be an Olympic athlete. He'd much rather be your companion, your shadow, your playmate, and your very large snuggle buddy.Rambo is about 1.5 years old and currently living with his foster family in Washington. He's come a long way from being left alone in the desert. Now he just needs someone to show him that he's home for good.Interested in Rambo?
