A FUN, FRIENDLY & ACTIVE PUPPY: Approx. 6-7 months old / Approx. 35 lbs. & growing Hi, I'm Shannon! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a new home. I got to go for a spend-the-night with one of the fosters and that was fun and now I'm enjoying my time with the volunteers at the shelter who are fun to be with! I hear that I'm ready to find a wonderful family of my very own now and I hope to meet them very soon! I've been selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience off-site and am learning a lot! Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I'm available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them. I also enjoyed playing with the puppy that was my age during my spend-the-night, so if you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, let's meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven't met kids yet, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a beautiful young girl with a cheerful spirit and lovely nature! I'm affectionate and always ready to share a little love. I was an absolute doll for my bath, staying calm and relaxed the whole time while giving kisses before and after to show my appreciation. I have a gentle side and an active side as well as lots of affection to share, and I can't wait to share all of me with my new family! / Energy level: 6-8 so I'll want a family that will be active with me! • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already learned the 'sit', 'down', 'stay', 'come', 'drop it' and 'place' commands and I look forward to learning more! Let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / I did well at my spend-the-night in my crate and I'm doing well at the shelter too, though no dog wants to spend a lot of time in a crate. / I did well with my potty manners at my spend-the-night and I'm doing well at the shelter too. Hopefully that will be the case in my new home too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy playing, being active, spending time with the nice volunteers, and sharing lots of affection! I love making connections with people, and I'm sure I'll discover plenty more favorite things to do once I'm settled into my new home. / Loud noises startle me and for now you may have to help me get into the car, but I'm sure I'll learn that car rides lead to fun times! Like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. If you're ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let's meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care. We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot. The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org. Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family! Adoption Info: Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only. Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email. Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family. We do require an interview, references and a contract. Must be 21 or over to adopt.
