In the shelter’s words

Meet Lovely Lyla! Born in 2025, Lyla is a playful, adorable Lab mix pup with a whole lot of personality in her 30-lb frame! With her mama being a 40-lb Black Lab/Pitbull mix, this little lady is expected to grow into the perfect medium size of about 35-40 lbs. Lyla may have had a rough start--she and her littermates spent their early days in an outdoor pen before Barkville rescued them--but this girl is making up for lost time in the best possible way. She&#39s playful, spunky, and full of sass, always ready to chase a toy, bounce around the yard, or run with her friends. Lyla would need need a fenced-in backyard and a furry friend to play with. Her foster mom says Lyla is super smart and already showing off her quick-learning skills. She&#39s working on leash training and rocking it all like a champ. With her goofy puppy antics and happy energy, Lyla keeps everyone around her smiling. She&#39s curious and always up for fun--everything you&#39d want in a puppy best friend. Lyla is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, crate and potty trained. For more information about Lyla, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at: www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA, and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states may also adopt a BarkVille dog if approved, provided they live within 2-3 hours of Atlanta and can pick up their dog from the foster home.
