In the shelter’s words
Meet Miguel – A Sweet Young Pup Ready for His Second Chance Miguel is a 1.5-year-old Labrador Retriever mix, weighing around 42–45 lbs, with a heart full of love and so much life ahead of him. He and his sister, Whitney, were rescued from Apple Valley Shelter just in time—saved from the euthanasia list and given the second chance they so desperately deserved. Now, Miguel is safe, healthy, and ready to find a forever home of his own. ✨ Miguel at a Glance: • Age: ~1.5 years • Breed: Labrador Retriever mix • Weight: 45 lbs • Neutered, vaccinated & microchipped • Friendly with people and other dogs • Sweet, playful, and eager to learn Miguel is an affectionate, happy pup who truly loves being around people. He gets along well with other dogs and has that fun, youthful energy that makes every day brighter. Like any young dog, he’s still learning—but he’s incredibly smart and ready to grow with a loving family by his side. He and his sister were found as strays, so their past is unknown—but what matters now is giving Miguel the bright, stable future he deserves. Miguel is available for: • Adoption • Foster-to-Adopt • Foster If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a loyal, loving companion, Miguel is waiting for you. Please contact the rescue to meet Miguel and help him start his next chapter.
