In the shelter’s words
Wanda was found wandering in a parking lot, but she was clearly no stray cat! She's sweet and loving and just wants your attention. And if you try to ignore her, she will tell you all about it!! This one's a talker!! Unfortunately, she is also Feline Leukemia positive, so she needs to be in a house with no other cats or other "positive" kitties. Thankfully, she should still be able to live a long, happy life!! Meet her: Saturdays at Pet Smart Harbison from 12 to 4 pm. Plan a visit with the source organization
We have an application that must be filled out including a vet reference and non-relative references. A 24 hour hold on the application allows the ARC volunteer to call references and follow up with any questions for the potential adopter. A home visit may be scheduled at this point. If the person is approved, they must sign a contract. An adoption fee is required, however this may be waived in special circumstances. If for any reason in the future they can no longer take care of the pet, the animal must be returned to ARC.
Confirm availability, fees and the meeting address before traveling.
