In the shelter’s words
Name: Amber Sex: Female Estimated Age: 1 year old Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd Mix Weight: About 45 lbs Lives With: Dogs, cats, kids and all people! Housebroken? Yes! Rescued from: Alabama Story: We are so happy to have Amber safe and sound in a foster home in the DC area now. Amber is a happy sweet girl who loves people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. Amber is just looking for someone to be her new best furend and we know that she will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. Like all dogs, Amber will need an adopter who is committed to setting her up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising her both mentally and physically. She will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive! The fee to adopt Amber is $475. That covers the cost of all her vaccines, the collar she’s wearing, and her care in her foster home. She’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines. If you think that Amber might be your perfect match, apply today!
