In the shelter’s words
Hi, I’m Leo! I’m a playful bundle of energy with a whole lot of love to give. I may be a little nervous in a new surrounding with unfamiliar people, noise, voice, and smell. Hey, that’s normal. But I’m cautious you know. So I like to observe from my cozy spot under the bed, table or chair. But bring out some yummy food or a favorite toy, and watch my worries disappear! I’m all about affection. I LOVE being gently caressed from head to tail, especially neck and chin scratches. And yes… I’ll even roll over and offer you my soft, white, chubby tummy for belly rubs! That’s a privilege reserved for my adopted family! ❤️ Age is just a number to me. My heart is young, my playful spirit is strong, and give me toys and I can entertain myself—and you—for hours! And here’s my sweetest secret: when you leave, I’ll wait by the door for you to come home. ❤️ Maybe there is a little dog spirit inside me! Adoption fee: $200, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip

Our adopters fill out an application that screens for problems that may be detrimental to our cats and kittens. Once the adopter is approved we provide veterinary referrals which help with low cost spays or neuters for the kittens that are too young at the time of adoption. We are always available to help with behavioral issues that arise. We provide numerous information sheets in our adoption folders, plus the medical background of each cat. The only fees involved with our program are adoption fees that offset our veterinary bills.
