ALEXIS NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Alexis Best Guess for Breed: Lab/Pyrenees mix Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of Oct. 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 41.4lbs as of 10/30 Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter; needs DC area foster or forever home Special adoption considerations: Alexis is scared and shy and must go to a home with a welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes. Alexis is Looking For: Her forever home! This beautiful girl landed in the shelter through no fault of her own. Now she's looking for her own humans to trot alongside on those sniffy walks and adventures - she wants to burn all that awesome dog energy! Making new pup pals along and having plenty of opportunity to run and play is on her wish list along with quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. But above all she wants to know where she belongs, to be under her own roof, to be safe and loved. In exchange, she promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Can you see her by your side? What My Foster Says About Me: Coming soon! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckydog .
