In the shelter’s words
Meet Ashley Flowers, a gentle soul who's ready to trade the shelter for a cozy couch and a family to call her own. Ashley is the definition of a loyal companion. At around eight years old, she's past the puppy chaos and has perfected the art of enjoying life's simple pleasures: soft beds, quiet afternoons, tasty treats, and being close to her favorite people. She may be a little reserved when meeting someone new, but give her a little time and she'll reward you with unwavering devotion and plenty of sweet snuggles. She's house trained, enjoys relaxing with other dogs after a proper introduction, and has a nurturing, motherly personality that makes her a calming presence in the home. Ashley also does well with respectful children who understand that everyone needs a little time to warm up. If you're looking for a best friend who will happily curl up beside you, follow you from room to room, and remind you every day how special senior dogs truly are, Ashley Flowers is ready to steal your heart. All HSDC, Humane Society of Dallas County, adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. You can view all adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at https://hsdallascounty.org/available-dogs/. For more information, you can email adoptions@hsdallascounty.org.
