In the shelter’s words
Meet Gracie! Gracie is a stunning 7-year-old long-haired dilute orange beauty who has a way of capturing hearts almost instantly. Not only is she gorgeous, but she is also one of the sweetest, most loving cats you could ever hope to meet. Gracie is deaf, which gives her the most adorable little meows and makes her especially devoted to her people. Because she can't hear what's happening around her, she loves to stay close by and be part of whatever you're doing. You'll often find her right in the middle of the room, carefully watching the activity around her or curled up nearby, content just to be in your presence. If she can't see you, she may call out with a loud meow as she tries to find her favorite humans. While Gracie can be a little shy when meeting new people, she blossoms into an affectionate companion once she feels safe and comfortable. She adores gentle scritches, loves being pampered, and will happily curl up in your lap when the mood strikes. When she's not snuggling in a lap, she's usually tucked against your legs, nestled beside you on the couch, or cocooned in a cozy blanket. Gracie gets along wonderfully with other cats and has a gentle, easygoing nature that makes her a joy to live with. She's the kind of cat who fills a home with warmth through countless little moments: her sweet meows, her affectionate cuddles, her desire to always be near her people, and the trust she shares once she knows she's loved. There are so many special things about Gracie that make her impossible not to adore. She's looking for a family who will cherish her unique personality, appreciate her loving heart, and give her the forever home she deserves. Could Gracie be the missing piece in your family? Adoption fee: $200, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip

Our adopters fill out an application that screens for problems that may be detrimental to our cats and kittens. Once the adopter is approved we provide veterinary referrals which help with low cost spays or neuters for the kittens that are too young at the time of adoption. We are always available to help with behavioral issues that arise. We provide numerous information sheets in our adoption folders, plus the medical background of each cat. The only fees involved with our program are adoption fees that offset our veterinary bills.
