In the shelter’s words

My name is Lovie, and I’m almost two years old now. Life asked a lot of me very early on, and I’m still catching my breath. I became a mom far too young, gave birth in a shelter while I was hurting, and lost nearly all of my babies. I held on to one, and even adopted another who needed me. I did my best until rescue finally stepped in and got me the care I deserved.I can be a little sassy and guarded at first, but that’s not who I am forever. I’m learning that I’m safe now, and with patience and kindness, I've softened a lot! Now I'm playing and working on my figure (I got a bit pear shaped eating kitten food), and enjoying the occasional brushing session though I try to deny it...To inquire about adopting this cat please complete an adoption application at tinyurl.com/ccapadoptions
