In the shelter’s words
Yo-Yo came to us with her name — and honestly, it couldn’t fit her better. She was even put outside just before the big freeze.Yo-Yo made it to us just in time to be spayed before becoming a momma herself. It’s taken a little time to learn what she wants, but we do know she doesn’t really care for other animals. In her foster home she actually seems to like the kids better than the adults. One thing is for sure — Yo-Yo will probably bounce around in what she wants for a little while longer until she feels settled and truly safe. Not every rescue cat wants other animals — Yo-Yo just wants people.

We generally adopt out fully vetted cats and older kittens, but we are attempting some new options. Since the covid we have taken in over 140 felines, and we are not set up for this. We have cats everywhere and lots of new fosters; many of which intend to adopt once cats are spayed/neutered.
