In the shelter’s words
Meet Madeline! Meet our adorable, quirky little Madeline. We believe she is a dobe mix, but is smaller than most dobes. Madeline is probably 5 years old and weighs right around 50 pounds. She looks like an abstract Doberman, just a little crooked:) This little girl clearly had a rough beginning. She came to us with very little fur, a nasty skin infection and of course heartworm positive. Her fur is coming back in but she may have some permanent scarring, the infection is gone. Surprisingly, she is heartworm negative Madeline’s hips are a little bit off so she has an awkward, prissy, gait. She likes to run and play but should not be a marathon runner. Madeline is full of love but does not seem to understand small children so probably best that she go to home with older kids, 10 and up, or an adult only household. If you are interested in fostering or adopting this precious girl please fill out the appropriate application. Scout’s Honor Rescue covers all costs associated with fostering.
