In the shelter’s words
Charlotte - Female DOB 4/4/2018 - Dilute Calico- Meet Charlotte — She's 8 years old, calico, and an expert in the art of slow love. Charlotte is sweet. Deeply sweet. The kind of cat who will watch you from her cozy hiding spot, blinking softly, deciding if you're safe. She doesn't rush. She doesn't demand. She waits. Life has taught Charlotte to be careful. She's very shy at first. She won't be in your lap on day one. She might not even be on the same side of the room. And that's okay. What Charlotte needs is what every shy cat deserves: one patient person who understands that trust isn't given, it's earned. Someone who will let her come out of her shell on her own terms. No pressure. No timelines. Just a quiet home, a warm bed, and time. When she does choose you — and she will — it's magic. A gentle headbutt. A quiet purr from under the blanket. Sitting a little closer than yesterday. Charlotte loves in small, sincere moments that feel huge. She's past the kitten chaos. No curtains climbed. No 3am zoomies. Just a calm, gentle companion who wants a sunny windowsill and a safe place to finally be herself. Charlotte isn't for everyone. She will need to be your one and only pet. She's for the one person who believes shy cats are worth the wait. Could that be you?
