In the shelter’s words
Meet Bailey — Your Future Best Friend, Cuddle Coach, and Professional Tennis Ball Inspector! If you’re looking for a dog who will make you laugh, love, and stay amazed, Bailey is your girl! She’s the perfect blend of playful goofball and snuggle champion. This brilliant, affectionate beauty was abandoned through no fault of her own, and she’s now winning hearts at our shelter every single day. Bailey LOVES people — big people, small people, loud people, quiet people — if you’re a person, she already thinks you’re amazing. Kids? Even better. She’ll happily join in on backyard games, supervise coloring time, or politely request belly rubs as payment for being adorable. Her favorite hobby? Tennis balls. She believes they are precious artifacts worthy of chasing, carrying, and showing off with great pride. She may or may not think she’s training for Wimbledon. When she’s not practicing her athleticism, she’s ready to snuggle right up against you, convinced she’s a lap dog—even if your lap disagrees. She’s smart, too: quick to learn, eager to please, and always paying attention (unless she spots a tennis ball, then… priorities). Because Bailey is such a superstar, she prefers to be the only pet in the home so she can devote herself entirely to loving you, and so she doesn’t have to share her tennis ball collection. She promises she’s more than enough dog for any family. Bailey’s dream home: • She must be your one and only pet . • A fenced-in yard would make her happiest. • She’d thrive in a quiet neighborhood or rural home where she doesn’t have to pass close to other dogs. • Bailey is fully trained—she knows sit, down, and stay —and she’s eager to keep learning with her new family. If you want a loyal companion who is smart, silly, loving, and ready to be your very best friend, come meet Bailey. She’s been waiting for someone to see just how special she is. Bailey is ready. Are you? Come fall in love today.

At that point, if your application is approved, you may either bring your pet home the same day or make an appointment to do so.
