If you are looking for a beautiful, fluffy companion with a personality as lovely as her looks, meet Poof! She is a stunning, medium-haired tabby who will immediately steal your heart with her signature, adorable chirp instead of a standard meow. Poof arrived at Colony Cats with a little secret—just a few weeks after her arrival, she surprised everyone by giving birth to two absolutely delightful, fluffy kittens! She has been an incredible, dedicated mother, but now that her babies are grown and ready to fly the nest, it is finally Poof’s turn to be the center of attention. She is a total people person who loves human affection, but she hasn't forgotten her roots. Because she was originally part of a cat colony, she is very socially savvy with her own kind and would likely do best in a family that already has other friendly resident felines to keep her company. Poof is ready to bring her sweet chirps and fluffy cuddles to your home. **Come meet me at the cage free adoption center! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. We have an application that requires the potential adopter to wait until their application can be verified. Once everything checks out the adopter comes and picks up their new fur member of the family and signs a contract. One of the highlights of our contract states that if for ANY reason at ANY time they cannot care for the animal, they must return the cat or dog back to Colony Cats (& dogs). Our adoption fees are $125 for kittens 6 months and younger; $75 for kittens over 6 months and adults up to 7 years; $50 for 7 years and older. If adopting 2 kittens/cats at the same time there is a $25 discount. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, Feline Leukemia and FIV tested (cats), heartworm tested (dogs), microchip, flea prevention, vaccinations (FVRCP for cats and DHLPP for dogs), rabies vaccine (if kittens or puppies are old enough to receive a rabies vaccine). If not, the new owner will need to go to their vet to get this done.
