In the shelter’s words
Meet Ernie: A Furry Ray of Sunshine Ernie is a special boy. He absolutely loves snuggling and brings so much happiness to his foster family; he is like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. This precious kitten is a warm cuddly furball who loves his humans and his cat buddies. Ernie is the world’s sweetest little lover boy!Ernie is a kitten so of course enjoys his playtime as well. His favorite toys are electronic balls, which he gleefully chases around with an abundance of energy. There’s nothing cuter than a kitten trying to tackle a confounding toy! What really sets Ernie apart from the crowd is that he is the perfect balance of cuddlebug and silly little playmate. You can delight in his antics one moment and in the next enjoy his soft fur and sweet purrs when he tires of playing and is just looking to snooze in your lap. Ernie’s pleasant nature and loving personality have melted the hearts of his foster family, who describe him as the ideal companion. He’s too modest to tell you, but he’s pretty darn cute too with his classic tabby markings and sweet little face. Since this guy is still so young, he must be adopted into a home with another friendly cat to continue to grow his social skills and burn off all that kitten energy. He delights in the companionship of the other cats in his foster home. Ernie has so much to offer and would love to bring extra light and warmth to his forever people in his forever home. He stands ready to become a member of your family! WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION AS WE ARE A FOSTER-BASED ORGANIZATION. Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or
