In the shelter’s words

Our website is updated daily If you have previously adopted from NAR, send an email to narcats@gmail.com. We keep all applications on file, there is no need to fill out another. Zane Approx. date of birth: Feb 2026 Neutered Vaccinated for RHDV2 Zane is a striking black and white Dutch rabbit with a story that makes his sweetness even more special. He came from a difficult start and was in urgent need of help—but thanks to some caring humans, he got the second chance he deserved. When Zane first arrived, he was just 1 pound, but with love and care, he’s been thriving ever since. Despite everything he’s been through, he is incredibly sweet and absolutely loves attention. He’s the kind of rabbit who just wants to be near his people and soak up all the love he can get. Zane is ready to leave his past behind and find a forever home where he’ll be cherished for the amazing rabbit he is. We would love to find him an experienced home along with a potential bunwife. If you’re looking for a resilient, loving companion, Zane is waiting for you. Rabbits are prey animals and it's natural for them to hide. They need an extra-large habitat for room to run around and play. Potential adopters will be asked to provide proof of habitat and other provisions (see below). We ask that you research owning Rabbits and be fully aware of what is involved. They require lots of time and space. Make sure you have no allergies to them or hay that is fed.Rabbits can be extremely social animals, and require alot if attention. Rabbits live an average of 8 to 12 years, sometimes longer. Please take this time commitment into consideration when looking to adopt a Rabbit. Please fill out a Rabbit Application. All questions may be directed to narcats@gmail.com. All correspondence will be initiated through email until approved. Please check your SPAM folder. We do request that if you have a current setup to take a picture. The picture MUST include a sign with NAR and the date written on it. Please send to narcats@gmail.com. See all our Rabbits for adoption at http://nar.rescuegroups.org
