In the shelter’s words
Aster and Pansy, a loving mother-daughter duo whose bond will melt your heart! Found as strays, this sweet pair has blossomed in their foster home, learning to trust and showering their caregivers with affection. Aster, the devoted mom, is a biscuit-making queen, kneading her way into your heart with every chance she gets, while Pansy, her playful daughter, loves to scoot under a blanket for cozy snuggles. Both adore head scratches, belly rubs, and rubbing against their favorite people. Gentle and calm, they’ll happily curl up at the foot of your bed for a peaceful night’s sleep. Aster and Pansy are inseparable—eating, sleeping, playing, and grooming each other with endless devotion. They love chasing wand toys together, a perfect way to bond with their new family, and they enjoy lounging by a window to watch the wonders of nature. Thriving in a quieter home, they’re great with older children (they get along wonderfully with a 10-year-old boy) but would prefer a space without very young kids. This bonded pair deserves their happily ever after—could their forever home be with you? Marshmallow Animal Shelter wants to make certain that every animal adopted goes to a loving home where it will be well cared. Because of this, our application asks a number of detailed questions, which are necessary for our screening process. Our application will ask you to what lengths you are willing to go, in order to accommodate the animal's needs and training. You must be able to show commitment of time, finances, energy and compassion to the animal. Once your application is approved, we require that you sign a contract guaranteeing non-transferal/sale of animal, its proper care, and spay/neuter surgery if not already done.
