In the shelter’s words

Willy is a handsome & friendly, 60 lb Hound/Retriever mix with the gentlest soul. Born we believe in 2021, this sweet boy came to BarkVille unsure of the big world around him, but with love and attention, he blossomed into a wonderful dog! It&#39s such a joy to see his tail wag and his big smile shine! Willy is sweet, gentle, and walks beautifully on the leash. He knows some basic commands like sit, takes directions very well, and is so curious about the world around him. One of his favorite things is playing fetch--he absolutely loves chasing balls and could happily do it all day! With his medium energy level, he&#39s the perfect companion for family walks around the neighborhood, backyard playtime, or even weekend hikes. He&#39s good with other dogs, enjoys kids, and would make an amazing family dog! A home with a yard where Willy can run and play would make him extra happy, but most of all, he just wants to be loved. He&#39s smart, eager to please, and ready to keep learning new things with his forever family. Willy is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, house-trained, and crate-trained. He&#39s looking for a family who will give him the love, patience, and adventures he deserves. In return, he&#39ll give you a lifetime of loyalty, sweetness, and joy. If you&#39re ready to welcome this precious boy into your heart, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at www.barkvilledogrescue.org/adopt. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA, and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states may also be eligible if they live within 2-3 hours of Atlanta and can pick up their dog from the foster home.
