In the shelter’s words
Hi, I'm Dale! No, my name isn't short for Chippendales, but I like to think I'm pretty entertaining in my own way! I'm a happy, easygoing guy who loves people and never turns down a little extra attention. If you're looking for a friendly cat who enjoys being around his humans, you've come to the right place. I have a cheerful personality, a loving nature, and a knack for making friends wherever I go. Whether you're relaxing at home, watching TV, or just going about your day, I'll be happy to keep you company. I believe life is meant to be enjoyed, and I'm ready to bring plenty of fun, affection, and companionship to a forever home of my own. Best of all, unlike those other guys, I'm looking for a lifetime commitment—not just one evening! Come meet me at M'Shoogy's and see for yourself what a great companion I can be.

We want to meet you and make sure we are making the right match for your situation as well as for the animal. Email or call us about which animal you are considering and we can make an appointment for you and the animal to meet. Visit the Adoption Information page at www.mshoogys.org to fill out our adoption application and email it to one of our volunteers. You can also print a copy, fill it out, and bring it with you to M'Shoogy's during our hours of operation, which are Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please note that if you are applying to adopt a dog, we usually require that you have a fenced-in yard except in special situations. The cost to adopt includes shots and the cost of spaying/neutering. If you are adopting a dog we also ask that you purchase 6 months of heartworm preventative. It is sold by weight. If you check around, you'll find it is the lowest cost adoption service in the area.
