In the shelter’s words
ADOPTIVE PAIR: Vera and Domino Meet Vera, a striking snowshoe beauty who is unapologetically herself! Vera is adventurous and independent. She loves playing hard and napping hard! She's not very interested in cuddles yet, but a feather toy or a little Churu is all it takes to bring out her fun side. If you're patient, she may let you steal a few chin scritches along the way. Vera is totally bonded to her sister Domino, and they need to be adopted together as a pair. Vera is looking for adults and older children (age 12+) who will play with her and enjoy watching her grow into her full, spirited self. Sassy, entertaining, and full of personality, Vera is sure to keep you laughing. We estimate Vera was born around April 1, 2026. Kitty Bio #2034EC-Ve. ▶️ scroll down for clip If you're interested in adopting Vera and Domino, or another of our cats, please fill out our adoption questionnaire at icraeastbay.org/adopt/how-to.

Plan a visit with the source organization
Potential adopters pick out a cat or kitten and fill out an application. There will be a short interview with one of our volunteers. Adoptions do not happen same day. We will arrange a time to visit your home and the foster parents and a volunteer will meet there. Our adoption fee structure is: Cats and kittens (under 8 years): $100 Cats (over 8 years): $75 Two cats adopted together: Full amount of the higher fee, half the amount of the lower or same fee. For example: a kitten and a cat (under 8) would be $100.00 + 50.00 = $150.00 We require that all cats be kept indoor only. We have an adoption contract.
