In the shelter’s words
Dante is a 19-week-old Hound mix weighing approximately 27 pounds and one of our newest arrivals at Hudson Paws! His name was chosen by his wonderful sponsor, The Angela Lanuto Team, and we’re so grateful for their support. This sweet, playful goofball loves having fun! Playing in the yard with other dogs is one of his favorite things, and he’s always happy to show off his zoomies. His silly personality and joyful energy make him such a delight to get to know. We’re still learning all about Dante and can’t wait to share more as we discover what makes him special. Feel free to reach out and ask about him—we’d love to introduce you!Could Dante zoom his way into your heart and find his forever home with you?Adoption Fee: $600 - $200 Reimbursed after Neuter.

Plan a visit with the source organization
Potential adopter fills out a form with info on preferred dog as well as what they're looking for in a dog, plus a vet reference among other things. I call them and discuss the dog(s) they're interested in, as well as any dogs I feel would be a good fit. We set up a meet & greet with all human and dog members of the family. If all goes well, an adoption fee is paid, a contract is signed, and the family goes home knowing they can call/text me at anytime for help if needed.
