In the shelter’s words
✨ Meet Lila Mae – Your Loyal Adventure Partner & Sunshine Lover ✨ Lila Mae is a beautiful 6-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart as big as her smile. She’s been with us since she was just a puppy, and in that time, she’s grown into an energetic, devoted, and loving companion who is ready for her forever home. This sweet girl lives for her daily walks, playtime with her toys, and romping around with other dogs her size. She has a joyful spirit and an adventurous soul—but she also knows how to slow down and soak up life’s simple pleasures. One of her favorite things? Stretching out in the sun in a big backyard, relaxing and recharging after a fun-filled day. Lila Mae thrives in an active home where she can get plenty of exercise, love, and attention. Because of her size and enthusiasm, she would do best in a home without small children, elderly individuals, or cats. She’s happiest where she can be herself—free to play, explore, and cuddle with her people. She’s not just a dog—she’s a loyal best friend, a walking buddy, and a daily reminder to enjoy every moment. Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella and heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped. Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.
