In the shelter’s words

Abbey IS AVAILABLE (updated 10-31-2026). To meet any of our dogs, complete our online adoption application on our website: http://www.coastalgsr.org/dogs/abbey-4 Meet This Beautiful Brindle Girl! 🐾 1 Year Old | 40 lbs | Brindle Hound/Shepherd Mix This beautiful girl is as sweet as she is stunning! With her gorgeous brindle coat, soulful brown eyes, and adorable floppy ears, she’s sure to steal your heart. At just one year old and approximately 40 pounds, she’s a wonderful medium-sized companion with so much love to give. She’s absolutely amazing with other dogs! She would thrive in a home with a balanced, friendly pack where she can enjoy canine companionship and continue building her confidence. Having been found as a stray, she’s understandably a little shy and timid as she adjusts to her new surroundings. But the wonderful news is that she’s already coming out of her shell quickly! Every day, more of her sweet personality shines through. She’s looking for a patient, loving family who will give her the time, kindness, and reassurance she needs to truly blossom. Her ideal home: A loving, stable environment, ideally with another friendly, confident dog (or a balanced pack!) to help her feel secure and show her the ropes. This special girl has so much potential, and watching her confidence grow will be incredibly rewarding. Could you be the family that gives her the happy ending she deserves? ❤️ The minimum adoption donation is $375 for adults and $500 for puppies. This helps cover vet care, boarding fees, and other expenses. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
