In the shelter’s words

DOB 4/15/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Sona, an affectionate, outgoing, and playful torbie girl who possesses excellent social skills simply because I love people of all ages. “Torbie” means that I’m mostly brown tabby with patches of orange that look like I’ve been splashed with caramel in a candy factory. I love to jump in the laps of my foster family so I can nuzzle them and give them nose kisses as well as chit-chat with them about how their day is going. In fact, I enjoy spending a lot of quality time cuddling and snoozing in their laps. But don’t think I’m a couch potato! No siree! You should see me jump and flip when I try to stab the wand toy when Foster Meowmy plays interactively with me. Also I can be high-octane when I chase the other foster kitties as we roughhouse together. A Good Samaritan was feeding a lot of us friendly cats who had been abandoned by our owners when they moved away from her Alief apartment complex. Unfortunately, however, some of the residents were abusing us strays. Thank heavens this compassionate lady reached out to HOPE, and a team of feral-cat volunteers got involved in solving her dilemma. In hopes that our pregnancies could be avoided, our future foster meowmy rescued Silver, Ani, Zelda, and me by bringing us to the safe haven of her home. Now I’m ready to shower my forever family with kisses and to display my acrobatic talents as the wand toy is waved over my head. My ideal home can have other cats and kids but preferably no dogs. If you’re looking for a kitty who wants to give YOU lots of attention instead of selfishly demanding that you focus on pampering HER, then I’m the friendly gal for you! Arrange to meet me today! HOPE ID 25-1212-M043 Sona’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. To apply online: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Sona will be this weekend, email us at sfenicle1@gmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you.
