In the shelter’s words
Meet Crue — A Gentle Soul Ready for Her Second Chance At just 10 months old, Crue has already faced more than her fair share of hardship. At only 6 months, she landed in an overcrowded shelter as a Code Red, with her future hanging by a thread. With just 15 minutes to spare, a rescue stepped in — and that moment changed everything. In the four months since, Crue has quietly revealed who she truly is when given safety and time: a soft, sensitive, and deeply canine-oriented girl who thrives alongside other dogs. While she can be shy with new people, her confidence blossoms in the presence of her dog friends, making her an ideal companion for a confident, social pup. ✨ What Crue needs to thrive: A patient, loving home willing to let her move at her own pace A dog sibling to help guide and reassure her Understanding that trust is built gently — and beautifully Crue may take a little time to settle into a forever family, but what she gives in return is something truly special. With love, patience, and consistency, she will show just how kind, loyal, and deserving she is of a life filled with comfort and belonging. Crue isn’t broken — she’s becoming. And she’s ready for someone who believes in second chances.

Plan a visit with the source organization
Dogs and Cats Listed are in foster homes and available for adoption. A person must complete an adoption application, the application is then screened and vet references called. The applicant is then called for an interview. If approved the application is then sent to the foster to set up a meet and greet. If that goes well a home visit is set up for final approval. If approved the adopter must fill out an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee. All animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to any adoption.
