In the shelter’s words
Meet Lloyd This sweet one-year-old boy was abandoned and taken to the Baltimore County Animal Shelter, where he faced an uncertain future. Thankfully, the shelter reached out to Fancy Cats Rescue Team, and one look at his adorable face was all it took—they knew this handsome boy deserved a second chance. Lloyd is the perfect combination of playful, affectionate, and loving. While he may be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long for his sweet personality to shine through. Once he knows you're a friend, he'll happily stay by your side, soaking up all the love and attention you have to offer. This charming boy loves spending time with his people, whether he's chasing toys, exploring the house, or curling up nearby for a cozy nap. He's especially chatty and enjoys carrying on little conversations with his favorite humans, making every day a little brighter. His playful spirit keeps life entertaining, while his gentle, cuddly nature makes him an incredible companion. At just one year old, Lloyd still has all the fun, curiosity, and energy of a young cat, but he's already developing into the perfect balance of playful adventure and calm companionship. He'll greet you when you come home, follow you from room to room, and remind you every day just how special the bond between a cat and their person can be. Lloyd is a gentle, easygoing boy who would do best in a home with older children who will respect his sensitive nature and allow him a little time to settle in. Once he feels safe, his loving personality truly blossoms, and you'll have a loyal best friend for life. If you're looking for a handsome, affectionate companion who will reward your patience with endless love, purrs, cuddles, playful adventures, and adorable conversations, Lloyd is ready to find the forever family he's been waiting for. Could that be you? Adoption fee $200, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip

Our adopters fill out an application that screens for problems that may be detrimental to our cats and kittens. Once the adopter is approved we provide veterinary referrals which help with low cost spays or neuters for the kittens that are too young at the time of adoption. We are always available to help with behavioral issues that arise. We provide numerous information sheets in our adoption folders, plus the medical background of each cat. The only fees involved with our program are adoption fees that offset our veterinary bills.
