In the shelter’s words

Meet Nathaniel A Loyal Friend Looking for His Perfect Match! Nathaniel is a handsome middle-aged German Shepherd mix (born, we believe, in 2021) with a playful spirit and a heart that&#39s ready to find the right family! Weighing in at about 60 lbs, Nathaniel is equal parts fun-loving and affectionate, he&#39s the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with the people he trusts. Nathaniel is both house trained and crate trained, so he&#39s already mastered the basics of living in a home. He enjoys playing, exploring, and spending time with his people. When it comes to canine companions, Nathaniel does best with submissive female dogs who enjoy his rough-and-tumble play style. Nathaniel would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely stretch his legs, play, and explore. While he&#39s a sweet and loving dog, he can be fearful of men when meeting them, so he&#39ll need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Once Nathaniel feels safe, his affectionate and loyal personality shines through. If you&#39re looking for a smart, sweet dog who&#39s ready to blossom with the right family, Nathaniel may be the perfect addition to your home. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If youre interested in adopting this handsome boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.
