In the shelter’s words
My name is Raspberry. I'm a very shy girl. While I adjust and get used to you, I will sit very still in your lap. I do enjoy ear scratches, but you have to move slowly or I get scared. I was with three siblings growing up but I mostly keep to myself. I am looking for a quiet home with plenty of love and patience for me to feel comfortable. This will help me to grow and thrive into the cat I know I can be. A cat buddy that likes to nurture and be loving toward me would be a plus. Plan a visit with the source organization
We have an application that must be filled out including a vet reference and non-relative references. A 24 hour hold on the application allows the ARC volunteer to call references and follow up with any questions for the potential adopter. A home visit may be scheduled at this point. If the person is approved, they must sign a contract. An adoption fee is required, however this may be waived in special circumstances. If for any reason in the future they can no longer take care of the pet, the animal must be returned to ARC.
Confirm availability, fees and the meeting address before traveling.
