In the shelter’s words
Meet Husker! This handsome 4-year-old Husky with striking blue eyes is as sincere, soulful, and expressive as they come. Husker’s Ideal Day & Personality: * A Heartful Communicator: Husker is deeply emotional and smart. He wants to bond and once he feels comfortable, he wants to hear all about your day and get a few belly runs. He will give you short, little, happy opinions :-) loves vocalizing his happiness and checking in with you throughout the day. * Dog Friendly: He enjoys the company of other dogs and does great with a canine companion to converse with and hang out alongside. * Low-Key Routine: Husker loves moderate outdoor time—enjoying nice daily walks and sniffing around a secure yard—followed by relaxing indoors with his crew. * Building Trust: He can be a little shy when meeting new people (especially men), but he warms up wonderfully to patient, gentle women. * The Ultimate Complement: Once he knows he’s safe and trusts you, Husker will happily roll over and ask for belly rubs, making every bit of patient bonding time completely worth it.Husker is looking for a gentle, loving home that will appreciate his sweet, sensitive nature and give him the happy life he deserves. We are so grateful to help Husker find his perfect match! He can’t wait to start your daily conversations—reach out to us at DesertPawsNM@gmail com to learn more or start the adoption process.
