Hi there! I’m Barny, a handsome red tabby with striking stripes and a big personality to match. I’m a playful, confident guy who’s always up for some fun and a little adventure. I like to stay active and engaged — life’s too interesting to just sit around! Whether it’s chasing toys, exploring new spots, or spending time with my favorite humans, I bring plenty of energy and charm to every moment. After some fun, I’m happy to relax nearby and enjoy your company. I’m a good-looking, playful cat with a big heart and an even bigger love for fun. If you’re looking for a companion who’ll keep you entertained and make every day brighter, I think we’d make a great team! Estimated Birthdate: 1/1/2022 Likes: Exploring, humans, and playtime - I love to show off my athletic side! Dislikes: Being bored - Life's too interesting to just sit around! Volunteer Update: When I first met Barny he immediately wanted to "own" me. He rubbed against me, licked my leg and then looked me in the eye as if you say, now it's your turn. I couldn't help but notice his gorgeous coat. It includes spots as often seen in Bengal cats. Staff Update: I found out today that Barny is very smart. I put out some enrichment toys to keep the cats at the shelter busy. These toys dispense treats if the cat figures out how to make that happen. Some of the toys require the cat to turn the dispenser over, others require that you wiggle the dispense and another requests that they lift one section and slide another. Barny figured all of them out in record time. Agree to no declaw and indoor cat. Background check usually takes 24-48 hours. Home visit and delivery of cat. Adoption contract. Cats $40 and Kittens $50 includes Spay/Neuter, microchip, vaccinations including rabies.
