In the shelter’s words
Loki is a gentle, easygoing boy with a sweet nature. He has been around children and has done well, showing his calm and friendly personality. He enjoys attention and especially loves full body rubs. Loki walks well on a leash and is pleasant to take out for strolls. He also enjoys playtime and likes a good game of chase. At the shelter, he has gotten along with all the dogs he has met and would likely do well with a canine companion. Loki is a 3-year-old Terrier, born on 12/30/2022, and weighs 60 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and has finished his heartworm treatment. Loki is a kind boy who deserves a loving home to help him heal and thrive. *************************************************************************** This pet comes with an implanted 24 PetWatch microchip and free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service. *************************************************************************** This dog is available for adoption at the Humane Society of McCormick County is SC for an adoption fee. Our adoption process starts with an interview. We want to know what type of cat or dog they are looking for, their lifestyle, and their expectations. Then we set up a meet and greet either at the shelter, a pet store, or at their home. Then they fill out an adoption contract. We offer and encourage potential adopters to take the dog or cat home on foster-to-adopt for a few weeks before finalizing the adoption. Our adoption fee is $65 for cats and $125 for dogs which included spay or neuter and vaccinations and for dogs, it includes a microchip. Cats can be microchipped upon request.
