Meet Azalea! DOB: February 2023Weight: 25lbsDisposition: Independent, Fun-loving with other dogsBest Home: Azalea can be shy at first, but settles in quickly and greets her people with enthusiastic tail wags. She thrives in a space with other dogs and would do best in a home with another dog who can help her build confidence.History: Rescued from a shelter in Imperial County by TBL in February 2025Azalea is her true self when you see her with her pack! She's playful and happy, but takes time to warm up to her people. Once she knows you, she's sweet and loves to be in her person's presence, but she's also independent and not pushy about affection. If you're interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website to fill out an adoption application: www.thebarkinglot.net/adoptOur dogs are located in San Diego County, CA. Our goal is to find the right match for each pooch based on lifestyle, energy level, exercise regime, environment and living situation. To ensure we find a great match for each pup, the process includes: 1) Filling out an Adoption Application. 2) a play date with your furry friend, 3) a home check of the potential adopter, 4) an adoption contract, 5) an adoption fee. The adoption fees include spay/neuter, up-to-date shots, rabies vaccination, microchip & microchip registration, de-worming and the benefit of getting a pooch who has been living in a stable and loving environment. Dogs are fostered in our homes to create the same type of environment into which each will be adopted. We strive to meet each pup's needs in terms of exercise, socialization and basic manners, including potty training.
