In the shelter’s words
Meet Kip – A Warm-Hearted Tabby with a Big Personality! Meet Kip, a handsome two-year-old tabby whose outgoing personality will win you over almost immediately! Kip's life took a heartbreaking turn when his owner moved away and left him outside to fend for himself. Thankfully, he was taken to a southern Virginia shelter, where Fancy Cats was able to give him the second chance he deserved. Despite being abandoned, Kip hasn't lost his trust in people. He's a warm, affectionate boy who loves being around his humans and is always ready to make a new friend. He enjoys being held, loves attention, and is happiest when he's included in whatever you're doing. Kip is also a playful guy who enjoys having feline friends. He likes playing with other cats and would love a home where he has a friendly companion to chase, wrestle, and hang out with. And if there's one thing Kip is especially enthusiastic about, it's wet food! Mealtime is definitely one of the highlights of his day, and his appreciation for a tasty meal is sure to bring a smile to his new family. With his outgoing nature, affectionate personality, playful spirit, and love of good food, Kip is an all-around wonderful cat. After being left behind once, he deserves a family who will make sure he knows what it means to be loved and wanted. If you're looking for a friendly tabby who is ready to become your new best friend, Kip is waiting to meet you! Adoption fee $200, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip

Our adopters fill out an application that screens for problems that may be detrimental to our cats and kittens. Once the adopter is approved we provide veterinary referrals which help with low cost spays or neuters for the kittens that are too young at the time of adoption. We are always available to help with behavioral issues that arise. We provide numerous information sheets in our adoption folders, plus the medical background of each cat. The only fees involved with our program are adoption fees that offset our veterinary bills.
