In the shelter’s words

Meet Artemis, a little goddess with great big ears! With ears that point to the stars and a heart full of love, this girl is ready to find her forever home. At just 1 year old and 42 lbs, Artemis is a sweet, medium sized, mixed breed girl who has so much love to give. She is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate. Artemis loves to play with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine buddy to romp around with. She is also great with kids making her a wonderful addition to a variety of families. Her relationship with cats is unknown at this time.Artemis is a clever girl who is doing well on her house training. She is also working on her crate and leash skills, so she will need a family willing to be patient, consistent, and encouraging as she continues learning. Like many dogs adjusting to a new home, she may need a little refresher on house training while she settles in.This gal has all the makings of a wonderful companion, and with a little guidance and lots of love, she will be shining in no time. If you are looking for a sweet, playful, intelligent girl with adorable pointy ears and a heart of gold, Artemis may just be your girl!* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine.
