In the shelter’s words

MEET PEARLY GIRL Pearly Girl is our newest rescue, and she is an absolute little sweetheart. This beautiful, dainty white-and-tabby girl is about a year old, with gorgeous green eyes, the prettiest pink nose, and the most adorable little black beauty mark beside her nose. As if she needed anything else to make that little face irresistible! Pearly Girl came to us when a homeless man who could no longer keep her was about to leave her on the streets. Somehow he found us, and there was simply no way we could turn this sweet girl away. She is gentle, affectionate, playful, and incredibly loving. She’s a true little lap cat who loves cuddles, curling up beside you, and even burrowing under the covers in bed with you, purring away. She has such a sweet, gentle nature and just wants someone of her own to love. Her name has a special little story, too. Her beautiful white coat reminded us so much of my mom’s beloved cat Pearl, who recently passed away. We had already been affectionately calling this little one “Girly,” and somehow Pearly Girl just seemed to fit. Now this darling girl needs the happy ending to her story—a loving forever home where she’ll never have to worry about being left behind again. Could Pearly Girl be your girl? To request an adoption application, please email adoptions@lbsn.org or text 562-588-4272. Once we receive your completed application, we’ll arrange a time for you to come meet her. A $175 adoption donation is requested to help offset her veterinary expenses. Please help us find Pearly Girl the loving forever home she deserves. Why Adopt from LBSN? At LBSN, we pride ourselves on the quality, care and dedication we give to every cat we rescue. Our cats are never kept in cages or adoption centers — they live in our foster homes as part of the family until they are healthy, happy and truly ready for adoption. Because we live with them, we get to know their personalities extremely well, which allows us to focus on making the right match, not simply making an adoption. With nearly 30 years of rescue experience, we’re also here after adoption to offer guidance and support whenever you need it. For us, success is knowing we’ve done right by each cat and found them a loving home for life. ❤️
