In the shelter’s words
DOB: June 2021Weight: 45 lbsDisposition: Friendly, Engaging, AttentiveFrom: Tijuana where he'd been hit by a car and left with a horrific leg injury.Archer is a complete warrior spending 9 months in a veterinary setting as they worked at saving his leg with daily treatments and bandage changes. Both patient and compliant, Archer was fortunate that the vets were able to save his leg after the months-long therapy. He's now a fun-loving, grateful teenager that would love to join his people for adventures including hiking and beach runs. Archer is good with dogs and excellent with humans, even giving his vet tech kisses as she did bandage changes and scrubbed his wounds. Such a good boy! Our goal is to find the right match for each pooch based on lifestyle, energy level, exercise regime, environment and living situation. To ensure we find a great match for each pup, the process includes: 1) Filling out an Adoption Application. 2) a play date with your furry friend, 3) a home check of the potential adopter, 4) an adoption contract, 5) an adoption fee. The adoption fees include spay/neuter, up-to-date shots, rabies vaccination, microchip & microchip registration, de-worming and the benefit of getting a pooch who has been living in a stable and loving environment. Dogs are fostered in our homes to create the same type of environment into which each will be adopted. We strive to meet each pup's needs in terms of exercise, socialization and basic manners, including potty training.
