In the shelter’s words
Looking for your soulmate in dog form? Meet Rory - the couch-snuggling, belly-rub-loving, fetch-playing sweetheart who's ready to be your one and only! Four-year-old Rory is the total package: affectionate, loyal, housetrained, and endlessly endearing. Whether she's zooming around the yard with her favorite toy or curled up in her crate with her Emotional Support Sloth (yes, really), Rory's vibe is pure comfort and joy. We think Rory once had a home - when she was found as a stray, she was wearing a flower collar and already knew how to sit like a perfect lady. No one knows how she ended up alone, but her sweet head tilts, soft smile, and eagerness to connect make it clear she's ready to love and be loved again. Rory is always thrilled to see her people and makes fast friends with adults. She's not looking to share the spotlight with other dogs and would thrive as the only pup in a home with a yard. If you've got a low-key lifestyle and a soft spot for a dog who just wants to be your best friend, Rory is your girl. This is the kind of dog you don't just adopt - you treasure. Come meet Rory and see why everyone falls in love the moment they meet her. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. You can view all adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallaspetsalive.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/ . For more information, you can email adopt@dallaspetsalive.org.
