In the shelter’s words
Meet Polly – Our One-Eyed Wonder!Polly is a beautiful, petite kitten just under a year old — and she’s proof that a little determination (and a lot of love) can conquer anything! This sweet girl may only have one eye, but that doesn’t slow her down one bit. She’s playful, curious, and full of personality. At first, Polly can be a little timid around new people, but once she learns she can trust you, she’ll happily follow you from room to room like your tiny shadow. Her soft meows and gentle presence make her the perfect companion for someone patient and kind.Polly loves to play and explore, and her adventurous spirit shines through in everything she does. She’s adjusted beautifully to life indoors, where she’s finally safe, loved, and ready to find her forever home. She would do best in a quieter, calm home and we would love to send her home with one of her adoption center friends so they can play, navigate and explore their new world together! (ask us for suggestions on a friend)If you’re looking for a loyal sweet affectionate gal with a heart as big as her courage, Polly and friend might the purrfect pair for you!

Plan a visit with the source organization
Want to find a special someone to join your family? You've come to the right place. Adopt locally with us for the benefit of our community. All you need to do is fill out an adoption form and we will find a purrfect match for your family. All of our rescues are: examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated up to date, all cats are FIV/FELV tested, dogs are Heartworm tested if age appropriate, dewormed, spayed/neutered when age appropriate and treated with flea/tick product, if needed. They also are all microchipped when they are spayed/neutered. Once an application is completed & approved to move forward - we would set up a time for you to come and meet them in their foster home where they are comfortable. If everyone feels it is a good match for everyone, we would then schedule a home visit (required) prior to adoption. We also require a non refundable deposit of $50 per pet prior to a home visit. (To be applied toward adoption donation.) Adoption Fees* (Cats): $135 for a cat/kitten Adoption Fees* (Dogs): $500 for a puppy (under 1 year of age) $400 for an adult dog *There may be a special rate for adopting a bonded pair! Ask us for details!
