In the shelter’s words
This beautiful tabby girl has an incredible story — she’s a survivor of FIP and is now healthy, happy, and ready to find her furever home. She’s a gentle soul who loves being petted and spending quiet time near her people, though she prefers to keep her paws on the ground rather than being held. She gets along with other cats — especially kittens — but can feel a bit overwhelmed when there’s too much activity. She would do best in a calm, peaceful home, either as a companion to another friendly cat or as your one-and-only feline friend. This sweet girl deserves a loving, understanding home where she can feel safe and cherished. She’s available for adoption or foster-to-adopt, and she can’t wait to meet the special person who will give her furever home she’s been waiting for.America is a gentle, soft-hearted girl who’s just waiting for the right person to see her shine. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but with patience and love, her true personality begins to bloom in the sweetest ways. She absolutely adores snuggling in bed and will happily start your mornings with cozy cuddles and gentle pets. She is a huge fan of Cat TV so she will sit patiently by the TV, waiting for you to turn on her favorite bird or squirrel videos. When she’s not watching her shows, she loves batting around crinkle toys, and making biscuits by your side.America is a true lovebug who just needs a calm, understanding home where she can continue to come out of her shell. In return, she’ll give you unwavering loyalty, companionship, and the sweetest snuggles you could ask for.
