In the shelter’s words

Frank is a 3–4 year old sweetheart with a gentle soul and a heart that’s been quietly waiting for his moment. After spending the first part of his life surviving on the streets, he’s now been patiently waiting 8 months for someone to finally see the incredible cat he is. Frank is amazingly sweet and thrives on connection. He doesn’t just like companionship—he leans into it like a cozy blanket. He absolutely loves other cats and would do best in a home with a feline friend to bond with. Pair that with a loving human, and you’ve got Frank’s perfect little universe. Because of his past, Frank does need a quieter home. Loud noises and busy environments can still make him a bit skittish. But give him a calm space, a little patience, and kindness, and you’ll watch him unfold into a deeply affectionate, loyal companion. Frank is also FIV positive, but don’t let that scare you—he has shown no symptoms while in our care and is living a completely happy, normal life. In fact, FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives just like any other cat with regular vet care and a loving home . The virus is primarily spread through deep bite wounds, not casual contact, meaning friendly cats like Frank can safely live with others If you’d like to learn more about FIV and why these cats are just as amazing as any other, check out this helpful article: https://baypathhumane.org/adopting-an-fiv-cat-myths-facts-and-a-path-to-love-2/ Altered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, given dewormer and kept on flea preventative.
