Nicki is a gorgeous girl who was born with cerebellar hypoplasia, a brain condition that has slightly impacted her motor development. It is not degenerative or contagious. She also has some limited vision impairment along with wobbly legs but she can navigate perfectly after being in a home for a short time. Don't let her wobble stop you from considering Nicki as a member of your family. Nicki is near perfection in a pooch! She's a quick learner, mastering potty-training and the doggie door, and she gets along splendidly with both dogs and cats. This social butterfly thrives in the company of other pets and would make a fantastic addition to an active household that can match her high-spirited energy. While Nicki may not be the next agility champion or dog sports superstar, her zest for life is boundless. She's not really limited, just somewhat clumsy. In Nicki, you won't just be adopting a dog; you'll be gaining your most steadfast and loving best friend. Let Nicki's resilience inspire you every day, and embrace the wonderful wobbles that make her the extraordinary, adoptable treasure she is. FYI, Nicki's sister Nadia has the same condition and was adopted by an active family who takes her hiking and camping. Nothing slows Nadia down and she plays and keeps up with the other German Shepherds in the home. The minimum adoption donation is $375 for adults and $500 for puppies. This helps cover vet care, boarding fees, and other expenses. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
