In the shelter’s words
Opal is a sweet, gentle girl who is about 3–4 years old and looking for a loving home of her own. She was rescued over a year ago after being found outside, underweight, as winter was approaching. Since then, she has received a full veterinary evaluation and is now healthy, up-to-date on her veterinary care, and maintained on Bravecto. Opal is a very passive and affectionate cat who absolutely loves her people. She is a true lap cat and enjoys being petted, spending time with her humans, and playing. Her gentle nature and love of human companionship make her a wonderful little companion. Because Opal becomes stressed around other animals, she would do best as the only pet in the home—no cats or dogs, please. Given her difficult start in life, an indoor-only home is strongly preferred so she can enjoy the safety and security she deserves. Her current family wants nothing more than to see Opal settled into a loving, permanent home where she can be cherished. They are happy to send her with her familiar supplies, including toys, litter box, food bowls, and anything else she needs to help make her transition comfortable. This pretty tabby lives in Springfield with her owner and her rehoming fee is $25. Owner will transport up to 100 miles to the perfect home. This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.

Adoptable cats and kittens are shown on our website with detailed profiles and pictures. To help our potential adopters learn more about the cat(s), we encourage them to first contact and discuss with the foster family if it might be a good fit. Potential adopters must submit an adoption application for review and evaluation. We also have onsite Adoption Events on a weekly basis. Our adoption counselors are present to handle the interview and adoption process. Our adoption fee for single kitten is $120 and $200 for a pair. Adult cat adoption fee is $60. We require that adopted cats be mainly indoor cats and no declawing is allowed. Adopters must be over 21 years old and sign a contract that lists out his/her responsibility as the cat's owner.
