In the shelter’s words
**MEET MISTY — THE TAILESS WONDER WITH A HEART FULL OF LOVE!** ✨ **She may have a bunny tail, but this girl is ALL cat… with a little extra magic!** ✨Meet Misty, a soft little ball of love, loyalty, and quiet courage who is ready to trade her days of surviving on the streets for a lifetime of safety, comfort, and someone to call her own. ❤️Misty has already given so much of herself to the world. She was once a devoted mama, caring for her babies before she was finally spayed. Life on the streets wasn't always kind to her, and when she injured her tail, she showed just how much of a survivor she truly is.Despite the pain and everything she had been through, Misty came back to eat as though nothing had happened. "Even though she hadn't seen me in a YEAR, she still trusted me to help her. ❤️ During her bandage changes, once the painful part was over, she would settle in and purr." That is the kind of heart Misty has. She has every reason to be afraid of the world, yet she still has so much love to give. Her injured tail left her with the cutest little **bunny tail**, and when she hops around the room, she sometimes looks more like a tiny bunny than a cat! It's impossible not to smile watching her. **What makes Misty special?** A soft, sweet soul who bonds deeply with her people A loyal girl who appreciates kindness and gentle affection A former devoted mama who has earned the chance to be someone's baby Good with other easygoing, respectful cats A quiet, shy personality who needs patience and understanding An adorable little bunny tail that makes her one of a kind! **Misty's dream home**Misty needs a calm, patient home where she can feel safe enough to let her personality shine. She is frightened by most dogs, cars, and even the uncertainty of doors, so a secure indoor home with a gentle routine is a must. She would do best with people who understand that trust is built with time, kindness, and consistency. A laid-back feline friend could be a wonderful companion for her. **A little note about her health:** Misty has already had a dental, but her life on the streets took a toll on her teeth. She will need ongoing dental monitoring and preventive care to help keep her comfortable and healthy. She deserves a family who will love her enough to care for her long-term needs, too.Misty has spent enough time worrying about survival. Now it's her turn to know what it feels like to sleep safely, be cherished, and never have to wonder where her next meal or safe place will come from. She doesn't need a perfect home. She needs a patient heart. Someone who will see past her shyness, love her bunny tail, respect her fears, and discover the incredible little soul waiting underneath it all. ❤️ **Could you be the person Misty has been waiting for?**Thank you for considering adopting one of our kittens/cats.
