In the shelter’s words
FALLing for Princess? She’s Ready for a Forever Kind of Love! The leaves are changing, the air is getting cooler, and Princess is hoping this season brings something she’s been waiting for… a family that will love her forever. Three years ago, Princess thought she had found her happily ever after. Unfortunately, life had other plans, and through no fault of her own, she’s back in rescue. But Princess isn’t looking back. She’s ready for a fresh start, cozy fall evenings, and a family to call her own. Meet Princess! 4-year-old Shepherd mix 48 pounds of love House trained Crate trained Excellent car ride companion (pumpkin patch trip, anyone?) Up to date on vaccines Does well living with male dogs; has shown reactivity toward the senior female dog in her current home Cat friendly Best with older children who can respect her boundaries and handle her enthusiastic greetings Why you’ll FALL in love with her: Princess is loyal, loving, and happiest when she’s with her people. She’s got great house manners, enjoys a good adventure, and is just as happy spending a chilly evening curled up at home. She doesn’t need a picture-perfect life. She just needs people who will love her, understand her, and mean it when they say forever. Princess already knows what it’s like to lose a home. Let’s make sure the next one is her last. Fostered in York Haven, PA The only thing missing from your fall family photos might just be Princess! ❤️ Apply to adopt: www.pack9rescue.org/applications We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
